âYou held back. Her ass wasnât even red when I put her across my knee.â Dante walked into the kitchen and grabbed a beer from the fridge.
âYeah.â I nodded and sipped the beer in my hand. âSorry, man, I just couldnât bring myself to put much effort into it. I didnât want to really hurt her.â
âYou stopped at three?â Dante twisted the top off his beer and tossed the cap. âThere wasnât anything you could think of to let her earn a few more swats?â
âI figured it was best to ease her into things.â I sat my beer down on the counter and shrugged. âBesides, Iâve seen how you are. She probably appreciated my leniency.â
âTruthfully?â Dante lifted the beer to his lips and took a sip. âI held back too.â
âMr. Herrington would be disappointed.â I laughed under my breath. âAnd his wife would scold you.â
âProbably.â Dante chuckled and nodded. âI gave her enough for it to be real, but I stopped after that. Not that I really had toâshe was wet as fuck.â
âI canât say Iâm surprised.â I leaned against the bar and shrugged. âShe did seem to like spending time across my desk.â
âMaybe we should ask her which one turned her on.â Dante winked and sipped his beer again. âI bet sheâd say she liked what I did to her more.â
âProbably so, but I think weâve given her enough punishment for one night. Iâm ready to move on to something else.â I reached for my beer. âIâm sure she is as well if sheâs as wet as you said.â
âYeah, I agree. Sheâs had a taste, so she will know if itâs something she enjoys. Thatâs what the Funhouse is really about, right?â Dante lifted his beer again.
âYep, exactly.â I nodded and agreement and tipped my beer towards him.
âI guess Mr. Herrington would be proud, knowing that one of his paddles survived this long and was used to show another young woman how much she could love the things his wife was begging for.â Dante chuckled and pointed towards the journal. âShe really got into it as the years went on.â
âBrianna had a much nicer introduction to it, at least.â I nodded and stared at the journal. âI canât even begin to imagine how it was for someone back then. At least this generation grew up with it being normalized.â
âI read something last night about how she wondered if her husband was possessed by a demon, and then later on, she wondered if it was actually her that was possessed.â Dante shrugged and sipped his beer. âItâs no wonder this family couldnât hang onto their house. They were all kinds of fucked up.â
âJust born in the wrong era, I guess.â I sighed and lifted my beer to my lips. âAll right, are you about ready to go pay her a visit? Whatâs she doing anyway, sleeping it off?â
âNo.â Dante chuckled. âI put her in the corner.â
âOh, youâre evil.â I shook my head and laughed under my breath.
